Hot Toddie is made with booze and lemon juice and some other things I can't remember. Older people, my grandfathers age, used to drink that when they had a cold and go to bed and "sweat out" the cold. We take things like Tylenol today I guess.

If you google alcoholic drinks, maybe it would come up, or home made cold remedies too.

It was always known as Hot Toddy when I was a girl. Scotch whisky, hot water and lemon juice. It's the only cold remedy I ever use. It's just a symptom reliever, makes you feel better, soothes your throat and the heat opens up all your tubes:)

It's great for a sore throat. It contains lemon juice, hot water, and whiskey (hence, why you need to be 21 to purchase the whiskey in the US). It's basically what people used for a cold medicine before mainstream things, like Robitussin, hit shelves.
