Can i still get pregnant??

Question

I have been trying to have a baby for two years now...My periods skip some times and come at different times..Its normal for me or at least thats what my doctor says. My husbend and i really want to have a baby but have had no luck.. So my question is does any one think i can get pregnant or am i trying for nothing and has any one else been through this. I had the same problem only mine is worse. I would bleed for 2 months straight and then not get another one until 8, 9 months later. My DH and I wanted to have a baby so I went to the doctor and they had me to do a HSG, my left tube is closed but everything else is fine with myself and my DH. The doctor prescribed me provera to induce my periods, and clomid to induce ovulation since I can't til if I'm ovulating or not. Your best thing is to go to the doctor and get some tests run, get on prenatal vitamins, and buy an OPK (digitial) to pinpoint your ovulation date.

Have you tried using an ovulation testing kit to highlight your "best chance" days, than erm . . . how to put this politely.
Act like a pair of lovesick rabbits and LOVE LOVE LOVE each other for a few days . . .

we can't tell you weather you can get pregnant or not that for the medical profesionals, talk to your doctor about it there may be a fertility problem that can be eaisly fixed, i.e. blocked tubes, or it may be a serious problem that means you need IVF or some other fertility treatment, but we can't tell you. you need profesional help

have you been tested? the period skipping is really the least of your problems. Have you been checked for pcos or the husband for low sperm?
