I'm pregnant & tired all the time but he won't listen- I don't work so he thinks it's ok but I'm up before him everyday dealing w/ our kids! If your name wasn't Brianswife, I would swear you are my husbands secret second wife!
Mine does the same stuff and it makes me about batty. Usually, by around 5am, I end up heading the couch for an hour or so of rest without all his fidgeting.
I am not pregnant and it's still irritating. I don't care if he wants to cuddle, but he's frickin' fidgety!

I totally know how you feel. My husband has actually gotten worse since I found I was pregnant with our fifth child. He thinks because I stay at home with the kids and he goes to work that I am lazy. So I taught him a lession. I got a job for a month working 3 days a week.(or at least he thought I did) I made him take care of the kids and when I came home treated him the same way he did me. So whiloe he thought I was at working I was either at a friends or family member relaxing. Then when he started to complain I reminded him of his actions. Now that the job is over he got back to his old tricks, so i now make him do nothing but read pregnancy books and watch things like a baby story. He totally leaves me alone now. It was the only way I could get him to understand how I was feeling physically. And if all else fails cry, cry alot. And in the process tell him how tired you are and misreable and all you need is to rest and sleep. I have found that both although took alittle work really worked. I hope this is helpful! And if worse comes to worse you can always go on strike!Dont do anything from cleaning to cooking. That will teach him!

Wow - there are some bitter, angry women answering. Dang.

Seems many of you married children.

Well, you chose him honey - so you gotta potty train him! That is, no sex, no bjs, no nothing for a week the next time he pulls that crap. He should let you sleep and knock it off. Jerks like that - all they understand is no poontang. Stand your ground and he'll get the message. I bet you used to think it was cute, huh?

But just remember some mommie raised him a spoiled irresponsible brat, so don't be surprised if you tighten up whenever your MIL is around.

Yes, that s%$# sucks. It seems they're all the same. I wonder if the actually think we enjoy that stupid attitude. I mean to wake you up because "he is feeling horny" why the hell doesn't he do this when you're perfectly awake!
I hate that! I feel so frustrated because neither I know the answer. I mean if you talk to him about this you are taking the risk of getting him to think that you don't want sex with him and then he would have an excuse to find another woman or some ridiculous s%$#! But if you don't converse at all you have to accept your own sadness and be unhappy.

I suppose the Only way to Truly Make Him understand is to "Return the Annoying Favor" when HE is dog tired!!! Oh how Nice it would be if MEN could be pregnant for ONE Week - And let it be one of the Last 2 weeks of pregnancy too!! lol !!
Tell him he is startling the "Baby" , and MAYBE then he'll think twice. Hey, whatever it takes to get through to him !! Good Luck w/ your Baby & Congrats!! Good Luck w/Hubby!!

Did you say he is the one working the money? If so, don’t you think it’s a little selfish of you to to be so boring. I bet you don’t behave the some way when he is going down in his pocket to give you money! If the man works all day then all he is asking from you is a little affection. Pregnancy is no excuse!!!

There's a good thing in this as well.He loves you a lot and doesn't look out for an intimate sex partner other than you.You should be proud of this.

Sounds like you have a husband similar to mine. Sometimes you just have to tick him off I guess and stand firm on your need for sleep! Men are big babies sometimes. He'll get over it.

Yes, my husband does this too and while I don't usually believe in paying someone back or getting revenge in this particular case I don't see anything wrong with doing the same thing back to him. :) It might even get him to stop or just tell him that if he has to touch you then he has to rub your feet or shoulders or something like that.

My fiancee plays with my hair on a regular basis when I'm falling asleep and he likes to be touching me all night whether with his feet, arm, whatever and I love it. I take it as he loves me and wants to be near me and that makes me feel great.
