(you've been convicted) Which Sentence Would You Choose?

Question

you've been convicted of a crime and sentenced to 25 years to LIFE, no possibility of parole..

Your lawyer can choose how you serve your sentence though, and it is a choice between:

Serving your sentence in a Maximum Security Prison

or

Serving your sentence on a deserted island without any modern day luxuries.. no electricity, no nothing.

So, which is it? Which one would you choose?

oh, and tell me WHY.

omg this is so hard, but a very good thought provoking question.
Honestly I think I could learn to get along with people in the Max sec. prison. 3 meals a day a toilet to sit on and a shower with fresh water to bath myself in. Free (although not fashionable) clothes to wear. The chance to see my family every once in a while.
I don't think I would be able to survive without someone to talk to, I think I would get awfully tired of trying to survive on my own. I'm assuming I have no food either on this Island.
I think I'll do prison time.

because I am usually by myself most of the time anyways and I was taught at a young age how to survive without electricity and taught how to fish, hunt and preserve things by smoking them...=-)

It's too bad the bowling alley did not take responsibility for allowing more people to enter than they could provide service for. Surely, they cannot be held responsible for the racial tension and the fight, but at least they could be held accountable to accepting payment for a service they were unable to provide. Maybe the blacks purposely continued to bowl just to frustrate the whites. Maybe the whites showed up looking for a fight. Maybe it was a big misunderstanding that got way out of hand. Unless you were there, you will probably never know exactly what happened. We should focus more on punishing criminal actions and less about which parties involved were of what skin color.

I'd go to prison...I am not a 'nature' girl...I would not want to live without running water, indoor plumbing, electricity or modern medicine. Also, coffee, books and newspapers.

By the way, Tom Hanks didn't seem to have such a great time in Castaway.

The island.. Im down with that one at least my azz would be safe for 25 years.. and im free to drop the soap and roam around the island learning about my environment.

The island. I can't live without the ocean and if I'm destined to spending the rest of my life surrounded by it, I'll die happily.

lets break it down......
the island.....
filled with animals that can harm you, you have to hunt for your own food, you have to know the secrets of survival, you have to love your own company and be easily amused!!


Prison......
also filled with animals, also have to know the secrets of survival, constantly look over your shoulder, always have a place to sleep and guaranteed meals!

hmmm ill go with the island and hopefully get a message in a bottle to someone to give me some company!! =)

id choose maximum security prison. they get food and a dry place to sleep...all for nothing
