I'm close with both my college friends and my highschool friends. I suppose that's because I have different things to relate to them about. My first couple years of college I was really close with a lot of my highschool friends, since I'd known most of them almost my whole life. There's just that certain closeness that comes with that... a contextual closeness, if you will. My highschool friends have seen me grow and change the most. I've met a lot of judgmental people in college, especially around the same time, so I haven't made as MANY close friends as I had throughout my childhood/highschool career, but I have made a few very interesting friends who can relate to me on a more intellectual and experiential level (i.e., we don't live at our parent's house, we have to cook our own food, pay bills, etc. -- a lot of my highschool friends haven't had this experience yet). I expect to keep the friends who I really connect with for a long time.

I have three high school friends and one college friend. I don't have more college friends because I go to a community college and most of the people there just annoy me. Then again I've only been out of high school for three years and still live in the same city (Haven't moved out yet)

I have not socialized with any high school friends for 20 years. I still remain active with my college fraternity so I see those guys a few times a year, socialize with them and have a Yahoo groups communication every day. My college friends are still in my life, where high school friends are not.

As a college student, I am currently closer to my high school friends. They're just my safety net haha. I've known them longer and so we naturally have things to talk about and lots of lovely inside jokes. I feel I can trust them with my secrets more than college friends.

High school. In college it's harder to meet new people I think. Everyone is off with there high school friends so why not you. I met a lot of cool people but I hang out with my Highschool buds more.

high school..because they were my best friends..they have been with me for a long time..they are my peers on my teenage life..they are closer to me than my friends in college..because college life is about being independent..while when we're in highschool..we depend on each other (but not all the time)

My highschool friends. We all had great experiences together, grew to trust each other and were together the longest. We all remain in touch and take a trip together every summer. All 10 of us!
My college friends. I never have kept in touch with.

college is a super time to fulfill new friends and get to be attentive to your self extra effective. whether it seems such as you're taking your intense college friends with no attention and prefer to flow previous them. Do make the hassle to maintain in touch and don't burn all your bridges at the back of you. or you're able to desire to remorseful approximately it later.

Strangely my highschool friends. I woulda never thought that but yeah they are. My friends for SMSU split up all around the country but the high school firends all stayed here in Saint Louis.
