You are married, how would you have liked it if you found
pictures of your husband's ex-wife or girlfriends?
You are asking if you did the right thing...only you can answer that question. Personally, I would have thrown them away,
after you parted with him.

If you kept thinking about your ex, it's probably best that you threw the pictures away. You're married to someone else now, you need to be thinking only about him, not your ex.

Yeah you did the right thing. You don't need a picture to remember what the ex looks like.

Marriage takes work and the grass is always greener on the other side (until you get there. Then you realize it's greenest in your own backyard). There are times you don't feel love for your spouse even, but if you work through it you end up more in love than before. Check out some of this info :

Well I don't think it is about the pictures, you don't need those anymore. You need to address the issue of why you are thinking of your ex when you are married. Is it that you have feelings for your ex, or are there problems in your marriage?

Yes, remember the grass is always greener. You may be thinking about your ex because you think things would be great if you got together when in reality all relationships are tough.
TIme to throw yourself 100% into your marriage and make it GREAT!

Memorys are what make us great.
Although, my gf cried when she saw her old engagment ring from her ex-fiance, and it didnt set right with me for a long time, so maybe for your husband it was the best thing, cause it sucks when your significant other has pictures/reminders of there ex and you gotta wonder

Suppose you were wrong - can you retrieve them? I think not.
Youare married to someone else, so unless you have children with the ex and wanted to save the pics for them, then you needed to toss them.
Mooning over his pics is just another way of cheating.

Just because the pictures are gone doesn't mean you will not think of him anymore. He'll still be in your head. I don't think it was right or wrong throwing them away. You must not be too happy in your marriage.

Yes, if you feel as if they were a distraction.
You did it for yourself, the only reason to do something like that.
Everyone's mind wanders from time to time, its up to you to find a way to cope with it and not act on it. If throwing away the photos is what it takes to keep your mind centered then there is no better reason to throw them away :)
