I like romance b/c I can offer him romance back w/o him having 2 ask 4 it. You are right also, there are so many other things that are important as well in life. Theres always sometime left in a day or the week 2 find time for that someone.

Average girls do behave like an "average".One has to allow oneself to build up a good career and the rest will follow automatically.Getting romance in life is not all one has to crave for.There are lot of other things which are to be given priority.When the right person on your way and you feel some unusually good feeling about him, his association and proximity romance will be there automatically.......

Women tend to be more emotional, it is part of the culture of been a woman.
Us men are not very needy when it comes to relationship, cos most of us want sex.
But anyway, there are some exceptions for every rule.
And "Value Romances" could as well be a guy thing.

As a woman, I think it is because it dies so quickly.
So does time, give the lady what she needs, and be repayed in kind.
I also just remembered, men put the same value on Romance, but because it is such a girly word, they've changed it to seduction

i place the blame on movies and books that focus on the whole "fantasy romance" issue.girls are more emotional than men thats why we think that if we find the perfect man we will be "complete" not so.... trust me, i am desperatley in love with my husband and he is the same with me. but there are still things that make me crazy sometimes. i think romance is some kind of fantasy. there is no knight in shining armor with a white horse to carry you away.

Historically, falling in love is a relatively new concept, since pre-Shakspearean, marraiges were arranged, and all a matter of practicality and status...would you want that back?

because our heads are filled with romantic gumph in stupid movies! i myself don't get mushy but would love it if a guy would do the occasional romantic thing...doesn't always have to be roses and chox though,something as simple as running a bath or getting a dvd+bag of maltesers can be just as sweet!
