Eve of Destruction has always been a powerful song for me; seems all the more real as time goes by..........
Walk a Mile in My Shoes - great song! Loved it as a young hippie; it means even more now as I grow older, and I've met so many people from so many walks of life, so many different situations. So many of us use our own experiences as a yardstick to measure others morality, when in truth, we really don't know how we would respond to various situations unless we were there. We don't have to just accept and tolerate everything we see, but we do need to have compassion, and be merciful.

Okay I did go to that link. It's Barry McGuire. The video was very good.
