I have an interview coming up. And I have a pair of gray dress pants with silver pin stripes down them. I have no idea what type/color of shirt to wear or shoes! Any ideas? Need some feedback asap! Thanks

The pants are a dark gray with silver stripes.

I was thinking a white dress top with my black heels. But I wasn't too sure. I don't dress up often! And I thought having too much silver would be a little much! Thanks!

You can't go wrong with black for both. I think silver would be too far fetched for an interview. Go with black shirt and shoes. Don't need to match the silver.

Are you male or female?

Either way I guess I would probably go with a white collared shirt and grey or black dress shoes.

Or if you could find a silver shirt that matched the silver in the pinstripe that would look cute. It all kind of depends on the style of the pants too. Got a pic?

You can wear anything with gray pants, because gray is a neutral. I suggest a jewel tone shirt, to make you stand out, but of course have it be work appropriate (not revealing!) You could wear a sweater, a button-up, really anything. As for shoes, some cute heels or flats. But most offices don't like toes showing, so stay away from sandals or peep-toes. And if you want to wear a white shirt, you should add some accessories, like a nice necklace or earrings, but stick with just one accessory, it looks classy. Good luck!

Black And Grey Striped Pants

I read an article a while back that said interviewees who wore softer shades (like pink or light blue) were more likely to get the job. I don't know how true this is but a pink button up shirt and a pair of black heals would work with those pants.

Good luck!

Pin stripe is very veristile if its dressy,You cold wear a pretty red blouse, with a little black dress jacket.Or and Pastel color
especially if your brunette, with a long dressy black jacket.Boots would work real well,if they fit tight on your legs and they slightly pointed toes.Do your hair and a little makeup.
There you look like a million bucks:)

you can wear white, black or soft pink and black shoes. If you have a jacket to go with it, it will be nice...you just want to stay away from distracting colors...like i would normally wear a red shirt with pants like that, but for an interview I want a calmer look. good luck..hope you get the job.

If you're going to wear a solid grey dress shirt, I would suggest the black trousers with white pinstripes. I would also suggest black shoes and socks or socks that match the shirt (and I DO mean MATCH -- not just a close shade of grey) and a black belt. If you wear the light grey with pinstripes trousers, you will look too monochromatic, and the brown trousers (both light and dark) just won't look good at all.

White or red top....sweater or a blouse. No design because your pants have a stripe. Conservative jewelry...like pearl earings and a gold necklace. Black, conservative pumps.
Good luck!

For interview best be conservative, white blouse and black shoes sober. Pale blue blouse can work, shoes black or navy blue. Yellow might work if neutral. Pink is risk, red more risk.
