opens the stuck pickle jar or the one who needs HELP opening the jar?

I'm the one who opens the pickle jars (and spaghetti sauce jars, and gatorade bottles... Whatever is difficult to open.) Ever since my dad left me at the age of 5, I have been known as the 'man of the house.' (Even though I am a girl.) People come to me when they need things opened, or need something in their car fixed. To this day I am still the one in charge of the barbeque grill.
I don't really like the nickname, but I guess I did pick up where he left off. : /

I'm the one who's like, 'give it here, I can open it' and then tries but realizes it is really stuck, so says, 'wait, I will put it under water' and when that fails blames it on how the pickle jar is just sealed extra tightly, and hands it back to the person who was trying to open it who now, after all that effort put in, has suddenly opened it with amazing ease.

No I mostly help my son get the jelly jar unstuck my fiance helps my son with the pickle jar LOL

I can do them. I saw an old trick on the Cosby show--hold the jar on it's side and slap the bottom once. It breaks the suction to make it easier to open!

I need help opening any jar. If my husband's home, he'll open it for me. If not, I run the lid under hot water, & hit it with something.
