I've been doing that for the last 47 years jo and I've never seen him. Beginning to think there's no such thing as Father Christmas anymore !!

No, he will not come until you are asleep. If you stay awake, you will miss out on the surprise and it will spoil the wonder of it for you. Christmas will not be the same again. GO TO SLEEP!

Yes, you will. The trouble with that is , try to stay awake long enough. He can come and go really fast, so no dozing.
