Most definitely. The first time is always hard, cause everyone is most likely going to pressure you into riding it, if you are with other people. After the ride is over though, you'll prolly be laughing because you thought it was going to be scary, when it was really lots of fun. That's how I saw it. Even after my first roller coaster, I was afraid of going on one that had a loop. It was the same way for me then. I was so scared of it, but I ended up laughing at myself cause it wasn't scary at all.

The first time i went on a roller coaster, i was sitting in my seat, terrified almost like you want to jump off but once you get over that bit and the ride begins its fantastic. The worst bit is waiting for the ride to start. Once i had took that one i had to ride the bigger roller coaster at the park which was colossus at Thorpe park, and i was **** scared, and the worst moment was when you first come out climbing up the first big drop straight into a loop, but once we dropped, adrenalin kicked in and went on it about 5 more times that day :D

That depends completely on you. Some people absolutely love roller coasters, to the point where they will ride the same one hundreds of times (and no, I'm not exaggerating!), others are terrified at just the thought of getting on one.
If you're not sure, try one of the more gentle ones in your area (ask around if your not sure which ones are gentle compared to some of the more intense ones). And if you're not sure after the first one, try a few more...they're all different, and each one has its own "personality". Be sure to try both wooden and steel roller coasters if you can, they are VERY different but both fun!

Noo! At first I was terrified! Even with the little kiddy rides, but when I went to island of adventures awhile bak, I got on dueling dragons ( the biggest roller coaster at the park) man was it freakin fun!!! I say not bad for a first timer...rollercoasters rock! (at last the suspended ones are)

No, it will be fun! :) I remember my first ride on a BIG coaster. I was 9 years old and no one in my family would go on the ride with me, so I went alone. I fell in love with coasters that day! :)

it is until ur done, then u think its amazing, but thats only for a first timer. my first time on a roller coaster was when i was a little kid, was only terrified cause i didn't fit in the seat right, and it went UPSIDE DOWN! i suggest not going on 1 of those for ur first roller coaster.

depends on the roller coaster u ride-back in october i took my very first roller coaster ride and im already 14 i rode the batman at st.louis six flags-dont ride the ninja!!!!

To be honest, the scariest part of the ride is waiting in line.
It can be really terrifying and nervous. But once you get on the coaster, you will want to go on again.

well only if ur deathly afraid of roller coasters. ur 1st ones a lil scary bt its more of a thrill rather than horrific in my opinion

no but i did think it was when i went for the first time. i was at bush gardens in tampa florida. i thought i was going to be the worst but it actually was really fun i went over and over again. depending on what theme park and wat rollar coaster but u will love it
