Quoting from my favorite Christmas " this is going to be the best Christmas EVER" Christmas isn't about money.. It's about celebrating the birth of Jesus.. And being with your family and sitting down and having a GREAT meal and share memories.. As for our Family, we only buy presents for the children, and since our oldest just got suspended from school yesterday he is just getting a pair of jeans and a few shirts. We were going to buy him a Digital Video recorder, now he just gets a lump of coal. Start a Christmas Club account at your job and you would have money for Christmas.. I'm on a fixed income, well below the poverty line and I'm able to stick some money in savings every month.. it's called living with in your means

I went to the local mall over the weekend and had a very difficult time finding a place to park. If we had no money, what the hell was everyone doing there? I never spend more than I can afford for Christmas and maybe others are starting to wake up and act responsibly.

Are you kidding... he is so unaware of the real world it is sickening. he will have lots for Christmas, and forever more.. he thinks we all live that way.
he is our modern day Marie Antoinette..." let us eat cake" this Christmas.. after all, he has made us so safe by getting so many of us killed and wounded.
i doubt he even knows what poor is.. he has been a spoilt little rich boy all his life. Wonder if he would like to come spend Christmas with some of the street people this year. Dig around in a garbage can for food.. then tell us how well off we all are?

Well could it be you racking up credit card debit or buying into homes you can't afford be part of the problem?
I don't blame the president for mistakes I have made and neither should America.
Let see the surge is working Iraq you couldn't tell that by the media.
As far as the home front except people who bought the big whomping homes they couldn't afford.
We haven't had a terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11.
So how about this time you look and the mirror and look to yourself as the reason why you can't buy presents.

Why is it the President's responsibility for you to have money for Christmas? Personally, I am going to have a great Christmas, as will my family. I've already bought my wife a new laptop and washer and dryer, and my son will be getting new golf clubs among other things.
But, guess what? The President wasn't responsible for this; I was. Stop your whining and figure out a way to improve your position in life.

I had enough. As a matter of fact I had enough extra to get gifts for a salvation army family. Maybe you are just setting your sights a little too high. Just because you are not good with money doesn't mean everyone else is.

What exactly do you expect the President to do - give you some cash?
I don't know about you but I have been making the same salary for the last 10 years regardless of who is in office-
Thanks to Bush I even get a $200.00 child tax credit and I am in a lower tax bracket.
But watch the current congress let those tax cuts expire and then you will really have something to whine about.

I don't know where you are shopping, but all of the local malls are packed. Seems everyone is enjoying the great economy. Retails are showing a very large upswing in profits late in December that alleviates the slow starts. People all must be waiting till the last minute this year.
