Seems to be the case with the last few Repub Presidents.
Billy boy kept us out of a full scale war and the economy improved.
I guess some people you just can't reach.

Unfortunately war brings great profits. At least we are fighting a war worth fighting (to keep Americans safe from terrorism.)

Actually, and historically, it always has been. From the spanish american war onward, war has brought great prosperity and power to this country. WWI and exspecially WWII made this country the super power it is. This model would fit any capitalist society. Unfortunatly, this war seems not to fit that bill...

War is usually good for the economy.
WWII got us out of the great depression.
Unfortunately this war has only been good for the war profiteers, oil companies, private contractors, and mercenaries like blackwater.
Oh, and the 'trickle down' is a myth. This is just rich people getting even richer.

it's not new... from the beginning of the USA creation, they have always been in war against someone: the natives, fascist, communist, Vietnam, saddam, now arab and muslim... and the list is not complete
