The easiest way to find the answer is to change the percent to a decimal by dividing it by 100. (22/100 = .22) and then multiply the decimal by the number, in this case 705. 705 x .22 = 155.10

What the hell is wrong with our education system when somebody, who is quite capable of operating a computer and spelling, which is a miracle on this site, asks such a simple maths question?
How hard is it to take a calculator and do 0.22 x 705 =
I noticed that you have also asked what 22% £100 is !!!! Sorry Doreen but you should really go to an adult education class if you really can't do this sort of thing.
