It's like its frozen and the wheel doesn't work. When I plug it into iTunes it still doesn't say my device is plugged in. my iPod won't shut off either. Any reasons why my iPod isn't working?

1. Check to see if hold is on. This is located on the top near the left or right. You will know it when you see it.
2. Flip the hold switch on and off a few times and then reset it. To do this either hold down the menu and play buttons at the same time or hold down the menu and center circle button.
3. If that doesnt work let the Ipod sit there a few days until the battery runs out then charge it and leave it plugged in for a while.
4. Go to an apple store or call them!

Have you tried a reset on it by holding the middle circular button and menu wait until it goes blank. Then press it on again. It should rectify. If not try using another pc, with itunes see if it recognises.
