To figure out 10% (tithe) of a number, simply move the decimal point one number to the left.
1302.40 > move one number to the left and you get > 130.24
Easy to do with any number

Anyway whenever you have a multiplier of 10, 100, 1000 etc. you move the decimal point over as many zeros that you have.
So the answer is $130.24.
Also, when trying to find out a percentage: take the number, multiply by . (X) the percentage and subtract the amount you get from the first number.

i see u have a lot of answers so you probobly dont need another but i was thinking u may wanna know how to actually get it:
10/100 *1,302.40= 130.240
so if you were finding out 20% of 240:
20/100 * 240= 48

Ten percent of any figure is easy. Move your decimal point over 1 space to the left in your equation. 1,302.40 = 130.24.
