hi again. i live in the seychelles and we dont have those big facilities like getting in contact in a minute with a doctor or mid wife. we have to wait till we go for check up and it is not always that you acn ask all the questions you want. av had a scan before and doc says baby is fine (but i dont know what kind of 'fine')and i am having a baby girl. i have another question still, how does she actually move? round and round?? i mean i dont understand, some times i can feel her in two places at the same time, i figured out its her feet and hands, right? also i have this pain in my back, actualy it is more in the left in my back, the pain com and goes but when it comes its always painful. pregnant is nice but it mkes me worry alot, especially for my baby. (its my first pregnancy and i am only 18years old, father of baby left me ever since i was 2months pregnant, and i was in a painful depression, that i tried suicide, THAT'S why i ask lots of stupid questions) now i am a lil bit ok

At 28 weeks she still has some room to move and can do all sorts of gymnastics- flips and somersaults and getting her feet wedged under your ribs and such. In a few more weeks she'll get too big to do a lot and will resort to wiggling and poking.

I'm a mother of 2. (a boy 8months old, & a girl 2 1/2 years old.)It sounds like your baby likes to do summersaults and what your feeling can either be her butt..,hands,or feet and prolly her head at times too.. the back pain your feeling is most likey the pressure of her body pushing on yours..causing the pain..also it could be that when she moves..sometimes she may be hitting a nerve that causes the back pain.. Its all very common. nothing to worry about. when I was pregnant, something that helped me out a little was this website called www.babycenter.com whenever I had questions I looked on there..the site shows you what the babys doing inside you ( a pic and an explanation)every step of the way..week by week. I hope I've helped.. Good luck with everything!!

the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. when you think of a question to ask the doctor write it down, better still get yourself a note book and use it when you see the doctor that way you wno't forget to ask any of the questions. When you feel baby move in different places is is as you thought hand and feet going all at once. back pain is common in later pregnancy cause you have this big lump in the front and it causes your back to sway forwards. this is not a good posture but impossible to correct until after baby is born. try lying on your side for a while when it is sore. look after yourself, and good luck

Why would you try suicide if you have fears about the health of your baby? Killing yourself and your child is not the solution for a worthless father. There a PLENTY of men in this world who want families and who will love their wives and children even if they didnt give birth to them. Go find THOSE men, and stop wasting your life away over one man who doesnt have it together.

Babies take up all the room inside your belly, you feel them move in two places at once because they take up that much room. Hands and feet, elbows and knees, head and butt.

I know its hard to believe, but your body is actually perfectly designed to give birth to a healthy child. Its created just for it. While having a doctor is excellent for problems that may arise, it is actually possible to be pregnant and give birth without one.

You've had your scan and it showed that the health of the placenta and the baby and its development is right on cue, and in most cases woman only have one scan to know all is well, even in places with helath care systems that function.

If you notice that theres no been ANY movement in a 24 hour period, or that your face and hands have suddenly swollen or that you're bleeding like you're on a period, then you need to go bang on the hospital doors, or find a doctor some where.

Otherwise you're just fine. You can use the internet to know what you should or shouldnt feel.

The pain in your back is normal, its part of the pains of pregnancy.

Its scary to be pregnant and it makes it a little less scary to have someone in a white coat tell you whats going on and whats okay and to do more than just look at you, but even without a doctor I promise you can have a baby. Women have been doing it for eons.

Eons.

I just had a long answer and deleted it! :(

Consider a doula, she'll be able to help you with your questions now and during birth. She'll also be able to give you emotional support. http://www.childbirthconnection.org/article.asp?ClickedLink=257&ck=10178&area=27

Most doctors won't give you specific info unless you ask a specific question. As long as he/she hasn't said something is wrong with your baby, your daughter should be fine. Most babies grow perfectly without any help from us. Listen to your body and baby, you'll know if something isn't right.

Cool info about how your baby is growing: http://www.childbirthconnection.org/article.asp?ck=10241

This should help you figure out what position your daughter is in: http://spinningbabies.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=32

Get baby in a good position. Avoid a cesarean birth. http://www.childbirthconnection.org/article.asp?ck=10164

Take care of yourself. Practice good body mechanics during pregnancy. Your baby will start putting on more weight now. Your back will have to compesate for your growing belly. http://exercise.birthingnaturally.net/

As long as the pains in your back are not some kind of pattern, it should be just normal stretching pains adjusting to your growing daughter. But know the signs of preterm labor: http://www.marchofdimes.com/pnhec/188_1080.asp

Best wishes for your upcomming birth.
