i have no family and my husband will be at work xmas day night, so once the kids are asleep i plan on laying on the sofa with some chocolates, crisps and a bottle of chilled baileys

Maybe you can volunteer at a soup kitchen or try to find others you know who are alone this Christmas. When I spent Christmas without family I would get together with co-workers and friends instead.

I also have no boyfriend, nor will I be with my family. I'm spending my Christmas with a friend and her kids.

Curl up on the couch with some hot cocoa and watch some Christmas movies.

Volunteer at a children's hospital or the USO maybe a retirement home. Many others are alone as well.

Watch tv, play around on the computer, that's what I did last year, especially since it was my first year to have a computer.

Voluntary work at homeless shelter, hospital, care home etc, then you wont feel so lonely.

happy christmas, wherever you end up.
