It seems there is one for field goals, one for punts and what other kickers do teams carry?

Isn't there a kicker for "safety's"? How many hikers are there? Is there one for each kicker?

Seems we have been having problems with it.

Usually there is one kicker who kicks field goals and kickoffs. Then there is a punter who punts the ball and is the kicker for safetys. Usually the hiker is the same for field goals and punts.

One kicker one punter and they will have 3 centers one only for snaping the ball for kicks the punter does safty kicks. And some teams have 2 kickers because the back up might have a better leg then the starter so they can kick 55 yard field goals

a punter, a place kicker, a center, and a long snapper. the punter or a quarterback will hold for the place kicker, who also handles kickoffs. since a safety results in a kick from the 20. the opposing team usually uses the punter to punt the ball.

Between 1 and 3. Two is the most common. The Jags had three one season. One did punts, one did field goals and one did kickoffs.
