Surely visiting your GP today would be a better source of information.

I had pains in the vaginal area sometimes that felt like a headache type of pain which they say is normal and that there really is no cause for. During 28 weeks or during any time all babies have a different activity level. Some are very active and some are not. Just like all newborns are different. You cannot compare activity levels to someone else. The only way you can tell if you child has a handicap or is sick is by an ultrasound, bloodwork or amnio for now. Really there is no other way of knowing just by activity level or positions. My son is handicap and they thought they saw something on an ultrasound but what they saw was actually nothing to do with what was actually wrong with him. So you really cant count on that stuff anyways. Just take it easy and relax everything will be fine!!!!

Don't worry this is completely normal. It is the muscles and ligaments in your body stretching and preparing for child birth.

If you have a lot of discharge or it really scares you give your OB a call and go get a cervical check.

I am currently 24 weeks with my 5th baby and have had this pain in all 5 pregnancies.

Oh and sometimes it will feel like the baby is kicking inside your vagina, this is normal too, I freaked out the first time this happened to me and went crying to my Dr.

stop worring if your that scared go to ur doctor and tell him,
the pain could be because u havent had sex in such a long time, or maybe ur babys shiffted try and fell for the babys head by now u should be able to feel a shape, dont worry to much a lot of stress could cause the baby problems as well as you, like i said go to the doctors but it could be that your vigina is preparing to stretch muscles there can strech on there pwn even before the baby comes out. main thing get it checked it doesnt mean your baby is hurt, relax!

The pains might be from ligaments in your groin area stretching. I would ask your doctor at your next visit.

As for baby moving....you should be feeling a lot of movements by now. At least at night when you settle down for bed....have a glass of juice and lay on your left side...baby should start moving around a lot.

You should feel about 10 movements a day..give or take. If you feel less, talk to your doctor.

Not having sex wont cause pain...having sex might.

I think it is best to have a a regularly scheduled prenatal check up and discuss this roblem with your doctor. You might be having placenta previa, or an incompetent cervix. You would know your baby have turned if you do the leopold's maneuver.search lepold's maneuver in the internet for pictures. The baby should have at least ten kicks or moves in a minute. Take milk for pregnant mothers so that there would be enough nutrients for you and your child.

It's likely that everything is normal so far.Why don't you visit your doctor so that he can easily understand the position of the young one and also he may suggest something specifically for you at this stage after examining you. I mean , he has to look inside the vaginal portion to see that there's no fungal infection , which , I am sure , you have taken care of.Even then his observation is necessary.Make it a point to visit your doc`tor every month .I think, he already told you about this. The feeling that you have stated is not abnormal.
