For what reason were we created by God? What was His purpose for putting this earth here and putting us on it?

Please don't go into a Mormon-bashing session, just give me your own beliefs. Thank you.

I'm not saying that God is lacking in any way within Trinity. But, if we were to say that he's completely sufficient in the Trinity, and that complete sufficiency precludes any creative work, then we would not be understanding what complete sufficiency would mean -- since God, who is completely self-sufficient and self-fulfilling, decided to create.

I'm only offering a hypothesis that the nature of love is to focus on others (John 3:16). I've often wondered why God created us and, of course, perhaps the primary reason is his own glory. But I cannot help and wonder if it is not also to express the very nature of what his own loving nature is, other centeredness and "self-sacrificedness" (John 15:13). I'm not saying that that is the case. But, when you look at what the nature of love is and how Christ performs the greatest act of love, I cannot help but wonder if there is a connection and that God is best glorified in fulfilling the nature of true love.

As far as love being fully known in the Trinity, perhaps it is. Perhaps it is not. I'm trying to be very careful here and not degrade the quality of God's love it anyway through foolish misspeaking. But if, just if the nature of love is to sacrifice for others, as in the greatest act of love is to die for someone else (John 3:16; 15:13), then how could this the accomplished within the Trinity without an incarnation and a death by which the greatest manifestation of love can be accomplished?

Does this mean that God is insufficient in himself because he "needed" to create or his love is not perfect because it "needed" to sacrifice? Not at all. I suspect that the nature of love itself requires expression, fellowship with others, that only imperfectly manifested love does fails to fellowship and sacrifice. Since we are made in the image of God, I suspect that the husband and wife relationship with the resulting union in one flesh in marriage, reflects the inter-Trinitarian relationship of love and its natural and perhaps necessary fulfillment in close fellowship with another. As we are in union and "one" in marriage, so too is the Trinity in union and "one". As God loves and love requires people on which to express itself, so too, God created us to love, to fellowship with, and to sacrifice for.

My conclusions about God and his love, though as inaccurate and insufficient as they may be, germinated from the truth of Christ's own words about "God so loved the world that he gave..." and "the greatest act of love is to lay one's life for a friend." since God is the best at manifesting love, I figured that to give and manifest the greatest act of love would require an incarnation and a death; hence, one of the reasons for creating us.

For the main area, direct translations are very sound. Paraphrases at the instant are not. i'm a KJV female myself. One concern with English language Bibles is that we are lacking some verb varieties that are in Hebrew and Greek. this might reason confusion for people who purely learn the Bible casually. I in many circumstances use a Hebrew/Greek dictionary and concordance to envision definitions and areas of speech, besides as a great lexicon. now and lower back I examine the Bible in Spanish- they have a number of the verb varieties we are lacking. I do have faith we are able to have faith Christ as He reported, "Heaven and earth shall bypass away, yet my words shall no longer bypass away." ( Matthew 24:35) For us to assert there is no longer a splendid translation of the Bible, God's be conscious, is to assert that Christ the two lied or replaced into incorrect while He reported this. i do no longer think of He replaced into, do you? In any experience, there are such multiple manuscrpits that coach us the Bible replaced into in actuality translated and transmitted wisely that we don't could problem approximately accuracy. except, of course, you're conversing a pair of watered down paraphrase like the coolest information Bible, etc...

and God created humans because he is a loving god and wanted to share all the good things he created for us to enjoy...

We were created for fellowship with Him. Before the fall of Adam, earth was a perfect and wonderful place for man to enjoy in fellowship with God. When the present earth is destroyed and the devil is cast into hell with all his evil partners there will be a new heaven and new earth for man to enjoy with God again.

What a great question! Our purpose is to glorify God and to be in a personal relationship with Him. At creation up to the Fall of man (Gen 1-3) it is apparent that Adam and Eve communicated with God and specifically walked with Him in the cool of the day. God spent time with His creation. When man freely chose to sin, his fellowship with a pure and sinless God became broken. God could no longer allow man to be in His presence. This breaks the heart of God, so God makes a plan. The plan is to bring Himself (Immanuel) into the world at the right time to redeem (buy back) that is atone for man's sins by offering His perfect sinless blood (Act 20:28, Eph 3:10-12, Eph 1:7, Heb 4:14ff).

The prophets attest to this specifically in Micah 6:8 (God desires man to love justice, mercy and to WALK humbly with Him). Heroes of faith like Noah, Abraham, and Enoch receive comendations by the Holy Spirit as those who walked with God.

When we look at God's plan for the redeemed (Christians) John tells us we are to "WALK in the light as He is in the light." Paul in his epistle to the Ephesians describes their "Walk." The blood of Christ makes this walk with God again possible (when we are in Christ "en christo" Gal 3:26-29).

One of the joys of the church being translated into eternity (the kingdom being handed over to God) -- that is to say heaven is that we will always be with the Lord -- daily and eternally in His presence, where we will have no need for the sun, moon, and stars for God and the Lamb will be our light. Fellowship with God are then 100% restored.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

Solomon said that the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him--He's too big, too awesome, too fantastic to be contained. We are like grasshoppers in His sight. What is man that God is mindful of him? Our answer lies in the Bible which is God's word. Let Him explain why He created us:

...thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:11

We were created for God's pleasure! Don't you know that God loves you and wants you? It was His whole purpose in creating mankind.
