Well I work with him and we have this thing going on. We work in a mine meaning that we stay on site for sometime then go home for break. No families are allowed so we are on single status here. When we met he said he is not married but has a daughter.

Well recently I was moved to the HR department and I was just checking on files when I saw that he is actually married with two kids!! Well its not that am serious with him but I felt hurt by the fact that he lied!!

How should I face him on this??

hang on hang on.

ok. it does look like he's lied. however he's not going to thank you for snooping.

people are weird these days. there are "open relationships" "soft sided relationships" "non-exclusive" "steady" etc. what i'm saying is, he may be married, but you dont know the details of his situation.

maybe he's married, but separated from her? maybe he's ready to move on in his life, to meet someone new, and has the intentions of being single. it's just like he is single, he will be single, he is single...so he says he is.

just dont go pointing the accusing finger yet. tread lightly, or you might ruin your chances with him.

good luck :)

(the alternative is to just move on from him. he sounds shifty from the start...do you really want all that worry?)

Working in HR has its benefits. Unless you want a man that lies to you, just make a clean break now that you are not in the mines with him.

If nothing really happened between you two, then this hurt should go away fairly quickly.

Good Luck.

Do not tell him how you know as he may try to cause trouble for you at work. Just tell him you are done with the fling as you feel he has committments elsewhere that he just is not being honest about. Then move on.

Call him into the HR department for a "special meeting". Arrange this at a time where you will be in your office, bent over your desk by your boss. Guy walks in, and whammy. What a story for the rumor mill...

Just tell him your not interested in ppl who lie. That is no basis for the start of a relationship.

yikes!
maybe he has his reason for doing that but i still think it was wrong for him to do it. anyway, just be careful in believing things he will say to you. you said you are not serious with him. i think his being dishonest should be taken in consideration if youu would want him to be your friend.
