When I extract the file, it seems to be extracting it to an .avi file, but I can't play it in Windows Media Player (well, the sound plays) and I can't play it in Quicktime (version 7). When I tried it in Quicktime, the window is just white. Nothing happens.

I tried extracting it with 7-zip instead, but that did not work either.

What am I doing wrong?

Edit: please be specific. If I have to download something, how do I know what folder to download it to? I am new at this.

Edit: VLC worked. Thanks!

Either the file itself is corrupted somehow, or the zipped archive itself was corrupted.

Most video files will play with software called vlc media player (Video Lan Converter).

It will also fix files that have been corrupted (if they can be fixed, that is) to allow you to watch it on your computer.

Anything that can be played in Quicktime, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer can be played with vlc, except vlc will actually play it without complaining about codecs and other things you apparently don't have installed ;-)

With this, you should never have any more problems watching things on your computer.

You can download it here:

download "mpcstar" that seems to play most things, I have a feeling WMP only plays CDA files
