I have a crush on a professor, but not in a sexual way, although I do find him physically attractive (sometimes)...

He's the same age as I am, and for some reason that did it for me. Do I still have a "crush" or is it something else? Yes, I do want him to see me a s peer and not a student...but what does that mean? Why do I have such a strong desire for him to notice me in that way?

Part of the problem is that he is so "mysterious" b/c he doesn't tell anything about himself to his students! I can tell that there are other women in the class that are/were crushin' on him during class...I hope I wasn't coming across so obviously!

When you are a student it is a natural and human thing to look up to someone who is intelligent and giving of their time to enrich others lives with knowledge. They have much power. It's not appropriate to have a "crush" on a professor or anyone in authority at a college. That's unprofessional not matter what the age. You will always be the student and he will be the professor. Don't try to cross that line. Just focus on your studies . It's what you are there for. It is a plus to actually like a professor, as it will make you want to do well. Good luck with college and keep things in perspective.
P.S. All students want to be noticed . It is human nature. Obviously you are enamored of his intelligence and abilities.

Maybe you are intrigued by this person which is why you have a crush of them. The only way you will be able to determine if it is more than a crush, would be to meet up with him in a social setting. However this might not be appropriate.

girl, after the semester is over, go get yours! lol

i'm assuming he's a college professor, and it wouldn't be cool to have a teacher's pet while in class. you wouldn't want that type of distraction, especially if your sex is better than your grades, lol...

he can't help his profession, so if there is chemistry, please believe you can tell. just investigate by asking hinting questions in class.

i'm not attracted to my professor, but he was always throwing hints about his personalty in class. him telling us that 'big girls don't cry by fergie is one of favorite songs at the moment, told me alot about him!

oh, and your desire is nothing more than ego, subconscious, maybe you like smart guys, maybe you THINK he likes you. i fantasize about my processors like that sometimes too, but it's usually me ASSUMING they like me b/c "i think i'm the hottest chick on campus" no, REALLY!

then again, maybe his class is boring. and another thing i always imagine was the status quo. what would people think of me, dating the professor or having his favor?? hmmmm...

Wait until you are out of his class, or things could get challenging to say the least.

guess what he probably notices you, when women desire men its pretty obvious, esp. if the man has the dominant role(professor)

It could happen. If you want him to notice you, then walk up to him and say "Hi"... I think you can carry it along from there.

You have a crush on him and you want him. You find him physically and mentally attractive. Stop lying to yourself. You want to be his trophy wife. Just learn to like other guys your own age and leave him alone. He is probably married with children.
