What ever happened to Long Horn ?

Few years ago Micdosoft said they will launch a new operating system under the name Long Horn . instead of XP . what ever happened to it ?

Long Horn was the codename for Windows Vista. Because Server 2008 also runs off the Vista engine it's current Beta is also called Long Horn, but will be released as Server 2008 when released in February.

Longhorn is now the codename for server 2008 (presumably)
