LG if you're reading this, I would keep answering your questions even if you never gave me best answer, just because they're fun. But you have given me at least about three of them. And every time you say : "I finally gave you best answer" LOL!!! How easily you forget my wonderful answers... :-)

Razzle, if you would just read my details you would see that I said, I would still answer good questions, even if I never get best answer. Also, you can't read my answers since they're private, and anyway, I have over 30% best answer, which is a little better than your 7%.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder if they appreciate my answers or they're just annoying to them.
Honestly, I can't remember giving you best answer before. Well, you know, as you get older the first thing to go is your memory. Or maybe I've been drinking too much. LOL At any rate, I wanted to give you one just in time for Christmas :-)

Yes! From now on you must pick my answers or I am taking you off my contacts.

Just kidding. Honestly I never even pay that much attention, I don't expect to get "best answer" most of the time. I know that when I say to breastfeed for 2-3 years, no solids before 6 months, don't use pureed food for babies, withhold grains until 9 months, never put cereal in a bottle, feed babies more often, never induce labour, no ultrasounds during pregnancy unless medically necessary, etc that I am not saying what most people want to hear even if it is backed up by evidence.

And never mind when I mention homebirth, chiropractors, the actual failure rate of withdrawal vs condoms, or the fact that there is a reason condoms come in sizes. Then I am guaranteed thumbs down, hehe.

But sometimes people DO actually think about what I am saying and do appreciate it, and that makes it worth while. Particularly when I empower a woman to refuse some medical procedure that is not to her benefit or empower her to breastfeed longer despite the fact that her family thinks its perverted or her doctor says she "must" wean (hehe I had a doctor tell me I "had to" night wean by 3 months, or what? She's not going to treat my son, well guess what that's no biggie cuz I am already going to fire your @ss because you are incompetant).

Anyway I'm ranting because I don't want to do housework :))

I don't think about getting best answer anymore. I remember a long time ago a person did a whole string of trivia questions and I answered first with the right answer on almost every one, but she decided to be democratic and give people who answered later best answer except on one of the questions which she did give me best answer on. I had thought I was raking up the points when I was answering, so that was a little disappointing. lol.

it might bother, but what bothers me worse is those contacted people always ask and answer each other's question and be picked as best answers all the time mainly because they're in each other's contact, it bothers me more because I have no contact to manipulate like that cuz the best answers should be ones that were chosen because they were really the best among the rest of them but even when it is not the best, some people give their BA only to their contacts because of the connection and acquaintanceshoip between them.

No I don' think it would bother me. I dont' have any contacts yet, well except you. But like you said, I like answering fun questions. Best answer would be nice but it's not the most important thing!

nah, but i've been blocked by one because i was given best answers by them but didn't give them back (my assumption), i give my choice to what i deem to be the best answer, regardless of them being a contact or not. i think i'm a little more "grown up" for playing silly games

nah.. when i answer a question, i just think that the person asking really needs help.. or in need of an educated answer.. so i try my best to answer their question and hope it will be useful to the person asking... whether they give me the best answer award or not, im still happy i was able to help the person...
