I am Catholic but I have to ask this question because I don't know... I need to know for planning my Christmas schedule. Thanks.

No I am not talking about midnight mass. I'm talking about Christmas EVE mass.

There are several different masses here. There is the one for 24th December itself, and there is the vigil to Christmas and the Midnight Mass.

Sure is! Christmas Eve Mass is held during the evening on Dec 24, anywhere from about 8 PM and ending by midnight. Christmas Mass is held on Dec 25 and usually during the morning, typically 6AM to 8:30 AM

There's no essential difference. I assume you're talking about the Christmas Eve mass being Midnight Mass.

yes its celebrated earlier, and the priests are sleepier, cause at that time they are usually all drunk together in there "bunks"
