It's been YEARS. hehe. And I feel like i missed out on something important....Do you think if I asked reeeeeeeeeaaaaaallllllly nicely, someone would humor me and do them now?

*sigh* I guess I'm one of those oldies that wishes to recapture the youth of my days as a new member...good times, good times.

But i think they could still teach me something, should I even ask?

Yeah, good times, all of two and a half years ago, lol.

preacher, I drank coke today. We can have coke.

The missionaries are studying really early. They usually wait until later to start proselytizing.

And I like church being an all day affair. Plus, I can leave after the first hour if I want.....

We don't have a service on Wednesday... that's an optional day for activity. And you can work if you need to, you're just encouraged to stay home if you can.

And why am I arguing? That has nothing to do with my new member lessons.

I don't think it is too late. what do I know though. I am sure that if you talked to your bishop/relief society president/ward missionaries/ward mission leader/elders quorum president (anyone in a position of leadership lol) you can arrange it.

When I was a missionary we would practice our investigator and new member discussion on "old" members. I'd suggest talking to either your missionaries or your ward mission leader to see if they would like the practice.

Also, as a missionary I very rarely left the apartment before 9:30. But I guess some people consider that early. I too enjoy 3 hour church. It certainly gives me less time to break the Sabbath. I personally prefer Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew, but only on rare occasions.

Of course you can - missionaries need practice.

Also, at any point you can take the Gospel essentials course in Sunday School which is usually taught be missionaries or ward mission leaders, and goes over the simple elements of the Gospel - it's a good class that I've gone to from time to time.

Every ward has what is called the Gospel Principles class. It is intended for investigators and newly baptized members. Simply start attending this class if you want a refresher course on basic principles.
P.S. I avoid caffeinated drinks altogether.

You should really quit being an LDS. It sucks. You can't drink coke. The missionaries are always stopping by super early. Church lasts three hours. They even want you to attend on wednesdays. Sometimes even before work or school. You are not allowed to work on Sundays. Unless of course you are Steve Young, then you can work whenever you want. His great grandfather is Brigham Young and he was a good quarterback so he can do whatever he wants.

Talk to your ward mission leader. I bet they'd give them to you gladly.
