Romance is the feeling of closeness being demonstrated. That of course must be separated from erotic love (physical). Romance might make the woman feel really special for a while so care should be taken that she does not get burnt out. My thought is that romantic love is important but not the MOST important condition for marriage. Mutual respect must be the MOST important condition for marriage. Both individuals must respect the other for how they are and how they treat one another.

not if you don't know what romantic love is. you can think you are in romantic love and not be. the feeling aspect can be very misleading if it's all you have go on. There should be reasons you are in romantic love with someone too that support your feelings. If you love someone that treats you like dirt chances are it's not a good condition for marriage. but if your love is backed by qualities found in relationships that have lasting value such as companionship, friendship, and compatability than romantic love should be the product of those things not the start of them.

No. We all change with time. We mature. While I think every one of us in long term marriages wish that romantic love would be a constant, we know that there are peaks and valley's in that dept. Even single people don't experience that as a constant. Life doesn't deal cards like that. Stuff happens and we're affected by stuff, thereby, romantic love can, and will be interferred with. Abiding love, respect, commitment, communication and trust are important 'conditions' for marriage.

YES definitly!! With no romance your marriage will be in he dustbin very soon...
You have to see romance in the bigger meaning... Its not only give your wife flowers or making a candle light dinner for your husband but its also about affection, love, sex, .... A marriage with those things isn't a marriage! Maybe only a marriage on pare, but thats it!
A lot of people just stay together, these days, for the money, the children, the house, ... But thats just stupid!! Life is just too short! Why staying in a disatreous marriage when you're not happy? Just get out of it than!
A good marriage is when every day you wake up, you're glad to wake up next to your husband. You cuddle up against him and you say you love him with a big kiss!
You're getting warm everytime you see him coming home... You love him like nothing else!
Thats romance in the bigger meaning and this will make your marriage work! At least mine :-)

It depends on the person. Some people need that romantic love, others dont. I personally do, because when i feel that romantic love, everything else with that person is wonderful as well. If I dont feel that then there usually is some problem, something that I dont like and therefore that I could not be with that person.

Rather a lot of questions to expect people to answer in one response! I will however answer the penultimate question. I would expect my children to have the same relationship with non-muslim children as they have with muslim children. I'm a Christian married to a Muslim and neither I nor my husband think Muslims are better than others and vice versa (we believe this kind of thinking breeds bigotry and hate which is extremely counter-productive). Also your question 'Do you want to have children? If not, how' this question does not make any sense.
