I hear rumors that it is. If so then why?

I doubt it.

I do not know the laws for this matter in areas under PA control, but I have read about plenty of demonstrations that go on in Palestinian cities. I imagine that they are legal under their legal system.

As for Israeli controlled areas I think there are procedures to apply for a permit to demonstrate, but often enough the groups do not apply.

demonstrations in Israel are more spontaneous then they are in the United States.

No - it is not illegal to demonstrate in the West Bank - however, the PA does not allow for dissent to official PA policies.

Good Luck!!!

My ASSUMPTION is that it is not illegal. Since I remember reading about both Jewish and Arab demonstrations in the West Bank, I assume it is legal to hold demonstrations in the area.

you should ask the palestinians it's their authority there.
maybe it's illegal maybe it's legal to demonstrate if it's not against the palestinian government...- but I can give them the benifit of the doubt and as I said I just don't know because it's not in Israel's control so I can't say for sure that it's legal

Demonstrators are always Liberals, and hence should be deported.
