ALthough protection is on the market and readily available to teens. I feel that topics such as this towards teenagers is still frowned upon. If people accepted that teens are growing up quicker and experimenting more then maybe more support and less controversy would be in place. I don't feel that having a baby young is a mistake providing the baby still gets everything it needs without the tax payer paying for all of it whilst both parents sit at home watching jeremy kyle. AT the end of the day no body can state whether teenagers can have babies evolution and creation decided that for us now all we have to decide is whether we join together and offer the teenagers the support they need or simply stand back and frown.

To be honest mistakes do happen... same as they do to adults. It makes me angry because as soon as people here the words teenage mum they expect an irresponsible immature young girl to be mothering a baby and this is not always the case. im going to become a mum at 17 and i have a stable career and have big plans ahead of me. I wish people would open up there eyes to the fact that it happens and i for one am dealing with it well and will give my baby the best. Just because your 30 doesn't mean you will be a great mum!

I tend to believe that they let their lives be ran by emotions and feelings rather than thinking or planning things out most of the time just don't think it will happen to them.
