I do think he is one of the most talented guitar players out there. I do not, however think he is one of the most underated to those who know of him.he has a very specific fan base and even though he has been around for a long time, not many people know who he is, in relative terms of course to the Nickelbacks of the world.he is amazingly talented and has played with some of the greatest.even BB King thinks he is good enough to play with him. if you think he is underated, take the road im on,letting people know how amazing he really is.around my area, most dont even know who he is,and i love turning them on to the music of Jonny.
love,peace,and hair grease. :0)

He is OK but Conrad Oberg is a blind teenager who plays rings around any young blues guitarist today...Also Little Toby Walker has won many Blues Guitarist of the year awards---They are both on You Tube---If you check them out you won't be sorry----Conrad does " Purple Haze " + some Blues songs on You Tube---I liked Johnny Lang + Kenny Wayne Shepherd UNTIL I discovered Little Toby Walker + Conrad Oberg + Popa Chubby..........

I think he is a good guitar player. I have seen him live, but I'm not much into his stuff. But as a guitar player myself, I have to give credit where credit is do and his is very fine player in fact!!

I have to say he ranks up there in talent, I don't think he is all that underrated. They are a few others that come to mind when being underated.

No. This is only my opinion,so you can take it for what it's worth. The best blues guitrist that I have ever heard is B.B. King.As for underrated and unknown guitarists(outside of the New Orleans area),the best blues guitarist I've heard is Walter "Wolfman" Washington.

I LOVE his stuff .... he's amazing! No one realizes how well he played at such a young age ... and now he's fantastical. Unless ... of course, you're a fan!! I love this video:

No. He's good, but Joe Bonamassa is better - IMHO.
