Call the IRS 800 number. They can send you a free transcript of your return. If you have a fax machine it only takes a few minutes, or they can mail it out in about 10 days. If you want an actual copy you'll have to file Form 4506 and pay $39.00 and wait about 6 weeks.

If your return was professionally prepared, the preparer will have a copy. But remember that YOU should always keep a copy for your records!
