Hi Lydia. You spent time trying to phone your boyfriend, another female answers the phone, he calls you and says that he is outside and wants to see you, but you refuse. The question is did you both do the right thing. It would have been better to have gone outside and confronted him with the situation of the telephone and another female answering it. It may have been a simple explanation that kept you wondering. Now I have no idea if you have resolved the problem, but you two need to get together and talk things out. You can not communicate unless one of you takes the bull by the horns and starts the conversation, no matter what the outcome may be. Good luck Peter

Don't jump to conclusions right away. It could have very well been a sister, a cousin, or even some other friend who is a girl. However, I'd be paranoid in your situation too. It wouldn't hurt to explain to him how you feel and what you think and see his body language while you do it. If he's having a hard time making eye contact, it's yet another possible clue (hopefully you know if it's natural or not for him to do that by now).
Don't refuse to come out and be with him though; that only makes things worse.

I'm not a guy but Ive been reading all your back question,, and it looks to me as if you need to get away from the man you are with, believe me you have your life ahead of you and it seems to me that the prat you are with you need to give him a wide birth, get out don't get tied down with someone that you are not happy with, or you are not sure of you should not be asking all theses question, because it seems to me that this man is not rite for you, so get away have a break from him there are good men out there that would make you feel a million dollars, and you would know that he is not using you for sex, life is to short don't get tied down to a man that doesn't treat you rite, get away from him and find someone that makes you feel so special good luck and take care,

avoiding him is going to leave you upset and frustrated ... i think you need to see him and talk about it. double check it was his number you called and not someone else by mistake .. then ask him face to face who the woman was that answered his phone ... look him in the eye and you will get a better idea if he is telling the truth or not.
you could be worrying over nothing, but not seeing him with only make the problem worse and cause you more anxiety.
Also how do you know it was a woman? and did you ask her who she was? did she just hang up?
get the answers from him before you drive yourself nuts hun and good luck!

I don't think you should have avoided him. Yes I admit it sounds a little funny, but there might be some explanation worth listening to.
If you get the chance to listen, then listen, but look out for his body language and other signs to indicate if he might be lying or not.
If your not 100% sure he's lying this time, just keep it in your mind and be aware of what might be happening.
Don't constantly question him regarding this matter, but instead let him go back to his old ways of thinking you don't suspect anything.

You should have gone out to speak to him. He may have wanted to tell you the reason that someone else answered his phone, or he may have wanted to end it with you. There is no point in hanging onto something that isn't there anymore. If he is cheating, confront him. You can do better.

Grow up before you wait too long for him to grow up.
Dump garbage every moment the odor gets too thick.
By the way you could use a few lessons in learning the english language.

kids .....
First off, guys can get very annoyed when girlfriends keep calling them up "for nothing" ...
Then maybe his sister or some-one thinks it's funny to answer his phone .. and when you question him he gets all defensive ('cos he doesn't want to admit he's been ignoring you, especially if some-one else answered) = so he lies ...
Then he realises you are upset so goes to see you ...
On the other hand maybe he's seeing some-one else and your should take the hint ...

It looks as though you've lost your faith in him. You should break up now before it gets too serious. Without trust you can't have a decent relationship.

communication is the key let him have his say but dont let him treat you like a fool and say you're hearing things go with your instincts they are always right. if your stomach is doing wobbly somersaults then something is not right. be strong
