I live and work in Texas. The company I work for is based in California. Do I have to pay CA state taxes?

You will not be subject to taxation by the State of California because you neither live there, nor do you work in the State of California.

I don't think so. But asks the HR department at your work place for more information. Cause every state has their own policy on taxes. Good luck!
