There is no appropriate answer that will make u feel better. My sister was 35...I like to think that they were too good and God needed them more than we did. I don't know sir and I feel for u and those children/wife. The best u can do is support ur friend until the end and then some...carry on as he would..You sound like a very good friend and in ur heart u know what to do. He's giving u his blessing and u need to feel it and go with it. I'm sorry! I know it's hard, but keep on! We'll all meet up in the end. God Bless!

Cancer cells are cells that have mutated to multiply without stopping. Normal cells know when they should stop multiplying but sometimes the DNA in a cell becomes changed for whatever reason (ie mutated) so that the instructions that told the cell when and how to multiply becomes broken. What caused the mutation could be a number of things such as radiation, smoking, exposure to certain carcinogenic chemicals, or from bad luck by being struck by some cosmic ray that made it through the atmosphere.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. The current situation in the world is this:
Satan rules the world at present. His challenge to God was that man could rule himself without God and decide what was right and wrong. God has given Satan a chance to prove his point by allowing time to go by without God interfering in man's development. That time is soon to end. In the mean time however, God will not try and make things better here on earth. That would be working against himself in proving that we do need God, and that Satan is a liar.
Having said that, the Bible makes some very comforting promises about the future. If you'd like more information, please email me.

Why is everyone getting cancer. It's not fair. I Agree. Just this year alone. My grandmother died of lung cancer, and two months later, my dad was diagnosed with it too(last stage). A friend's father recently passed away from lung cancer too. And now another person i know passed away from lung cancer. she was 15. Never smoked. And then two others are diagnosed with leukemia. They are 16. It's so unfair. I know. They say god wants to bring them closer to him, but i disagree you know. Wouldn't you feel he's being selfish by just causing them pain and grief to the people around them, then snatching them away for himself.
I've learnt to accept as an atheist, that maybe things just happen. There doesn't necessarily has to be a reason. We live, we die. We just gotta live out life to the fullest while we're here. that's just the way it is.

Most Christians will give you the bullshit that "God has a plan" or maybe your friend was a closet hitler going around killing innocent children at night. The truth is simple. **** happens. Life is not fair to anyone. Think of this situation over with a loving god watching this. Then think this over without a god existing to watch over this. Tell me which one makes more sense.

The bible says that the righteous perish and none lay it to heart, meaning the world doesn't understand that there is something to learn from their passing, but the part that I wanted to tell you was that it says that they, the merciful men, are taken away from the evil to come and that he shall enter into peace.
You have the more exciting job of being here during this time of the end and seeing the return of the Lord.

In the Book of Psalms, I believe chapter 139, where God says He records our birth and our death. We can't understand at times why good people are taken away but in,
Isaiah: 57:1, "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his head; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil."
This Scripture has held me together after losing to daughters nine years apart.
I pray you and the family will fill some solace in this Scripture.
"May God Bless you and The Family, you will be in my Prayers.

Only God knows the answer to this as far as the timing of our death. The fact is tho, we all are dying. Some are more evident than others and we are all dying of something. If he is Christian as you say, then to live is Christ, to die is gain. He will get his ultimate healing. I am more sad to see some die without Christ in their life.
I am sorry you are losing your good friend. It is hard and we miss those that have passed on from here. You will grieve, but you will not grieve alone, the pain will lift. It is hard to watch those we love to suffer. Hugs to you. I lost my mom to cancer this year, I can say I know how you feel and really mean it. I took care of her until she passed. God will ease your pain.

When Adam sinned, he gave the authority of the world to satan. God is working on redeeming all the earth, but for now satan is the god of the world.
God does grant some protection, but its not absolute, because God cannot break the laws He made. He gave the earth to Adam, and Adam gave it to satan.
The best protection we can get is when we are obeying God.
