I want to make a cookie bouquet, and need to find sticks to place in the cookies.

If you have a local lumber yard or maybe Home Depot will do this for you, get some 1/4 or 1/2 inch thick wood dowels and ask them to cut them lengthwise (so half moon) and then you can cut them to various lengths so they'll be different heights in the bouquet. Or maybe they even have wood trim that is a proper diameter.

You can use the skewers as noted. Soak the skewers first and pat dry. Stick in uncooked cookies. Then bake cookies. Most large grocery stores carry them in the kitchen tools department.

I would use kebab skewers.
