k basically he did something bad and he tried so hard to forget about it and now he's facing the consequences

that's my interpretation

let me change my interperation

he did something that he didnt want to do but he had to do it for some unknown reason and now he's confronted by everyone telling him why did he do that.

That quote does not stand alone. Obviously he did something that people didn't like. I don't know what the quote is from, but the guy feels shame in front of people who have judged him, and there's a personal psychology involved with how he copes with what happened.

another person doing homework on yahoo answers... its probably open interpretation. I could see it as a party, like in the drinking sense, or a political party, or any kind of group. Just think and answer it.
