We made a bunch of powerpoints with custom animations and video clips. Now we want to make them into movies and put them into IDVD. The thing is, when we make it into a movie (file, make movie button on powerpoint), the animations get all messed up. Is there a way this will not happen, or a way I can put a powerpoint into IDVD WITHOUT making it into a movie? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi,

PowerPoint's Save As Movie command changes some of the animations. Details about how animations get transformed are in PowerPoint's help.

If you are looking to make an exact recording of the presentation there are two programs available that I am aware of.

Impatica does a superb job of making PowerPoint into movies and keeps everything just right, but it's expensive.

Ambrosia's SnapZ pro is a screen capture program that works, too. It's less expensive, but you need a fast processor and graphics card to make smooth movie captures.
