i totally understand! sometimes, we cant help but to have wicked thoughts, coz the enemy is always tryin to taunt and tease us, and sometimes we tend to give in... but i do believe our God is BIGGER than any evil thought the devil might want us to think! so i guess what we have to do is ask God for forgiveness, and pray for him to help us and guide us to learn his way of thinkin, and not let our idle minds wander away from his love... godbless u!

You seem to have a real chance of salvation and that's why
satan is working overtime to mislead you. Ask for God's protection from his stupid pop-ups.

Remember satan only bothers those who are good at heart and want to worship True Merciful Lord. Remember the True
God has no beginning and no end. God was still there when
Adam was not even born. God is still around when Jesus has
disappeared since 2000 years. So guidance to His true path
is not limited to Jesus. He was a noble prophet and no more.
Because God is not human to have a son or a daughter.

Think rationally, read other books, besides Bible, you will
find the Ultimate Reality!

That happens to a lot of people.
The thoughts that pop into your head are not your problem, and they are not sins. Sins are the bad thoughts that you entertain, ponder, or act upon. You can't control what pops into your mind, but you can control what you decide to focus on.

By the way, it almost funny. The more you try to avoid those crazy thoughts that pop up, the more they pop up. My advice is to stop worrying about them. You aren't sinning, and you have nothing to feel bad about.

Where I get this stuff from: I am basing my answer on the writings of the desert fathers, and the practice of confession and absolution in Orthodox Churches. If you confess this sort of thing to a priest, he will essentially tell you the same thing. It isn't your fault, don't worry about it.

Everyone has bad thoughts. You don't act on any bad thoughts and that's what is important. And you realize that they're not right. That's another good sign.

Sometimes persistent, recurring thoughts, especially of bad things, can be a sign of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It might help to see your dr. And sure, praying always helps. :)

edit:
"OCD is an anxiety disorder in which a person has recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses, or imaginings that are intrusive and inappropriate, and that cause marked anxiety or distress."

Hey I know what you're going through.

Man, when I was young I used to get thoughts about religion and God that were 'bad'. My dad was a minister, and I got so tired of hearing 'god this, god that' all the time. At one point I confided in my mother "I'm so sick of God!"

I by no means urge you to give up your faith if you're going to be plagued by guilt and fear of hell. Just remember that your God is a loving one. If He created you, he created your mind, and he created your mind to think all the thoughts that come in and out of it. How could he judge you for that?

Don't be afraid of your thoughts, its natural to be curious and philosophical. You're not letting God down. You're not going to hell. You're a good person. Curiousity is a fantastic human trait and should not be shunned.

Good luck, my friend. You'll be fine.

Listen,

Every time we sin it is positive proof as to how much we need the Lord.
Your on the verge of scrupulousity and this unnecessary ongoing belief must stop!
The mind is very complex, thought in reference to evil, impure thoughts are constantly entering our mind.
Additionally, the latter occur even more when we have leisure.
Try to keep yourself occupied, buy a musical instrument it will keep you very busy!
Exercise is also a good way to avoid sinful thoughts.
Above all keep yourself busy!

I love all my children too, but I am more pleased with the ones who learn to do what it right, or at least try their best to do what is right. The little defiant one, I love him, and I discipline (teach) him more closely than the others because he doesn't seem to learn as quickly. I want his life to be good, but he keeps doing stupid crap (sassing at school, throwing things at other kids, not doing the work that was given to him...etc...), if only he understood, I would give him more if he would only take care of what he has! He blames me for not giving him as much as his brothers, but also admits that he doesn't take care of things as well as his brothers. I love him so much, but if he can't learn all that he needs to know by the time he's 18, he may just find himself in trouble on the legal level, and wind up in jail for not doing the work he was given and throwing things at other people!

We are born into sin because Adam the 1st man ate from the Tree of Knowledge corrupting all human DNA into the sin nature.

Thus we are born spiritualy dead separated from God destined to hell. But we can be saved by believeing in Jesus and what He did for us.

Now this saves our spirit granting us eternal life, but this does NOT renew your mind from the years of wickedness. this is a 2ndary work:

Rom 12: NKJV
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Renewing the mind is part of the salvation of the soul, which is separate from the salvation of the spirit. I discuss this indepth here:

Thoughts can't always be changed. I understand the problem. YES God cares. It is very hard to find the Blessing in Your problem, but look for it, or at least trust that it is there.

You did the right thing writing about Your trouble. Now find someone You trust and TALK about it.

(2 Corinthians 10:4-6) . . .For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. 5 For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God; and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ; 6 and we are holding ourselves in readiness to inflict punishment for every disobedience, as soon as YOUR own obedience has been fully carried out.

(Philippians 4:6-7) . . .Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard YOUR hearts and YOUR mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.

My suggestion is that every time you get a bad thought, think of something good, or imagine a place of peacefulness and content. Think of how wonderful it is to hear birds sing, or the smell the flowers, or green grass after a rain. And know that God has created these things, and give thanks.
