I've had a strange crush on my professor this semester --similar age. We had our last class today. He started off liking me, but I gave him dirty looks and then he started giving me a taste of my own medicine. I fell for him. I can't have him because I belong to someone else. But I want to write him an email saying that although I know he dislikes me, I think he has lovely eyes...but not to take it as anything more than a compliment, because I am unavailable. Is it scummy? Stupid?

I would do just to express my emotions. That makes me feel good.

I wouldn't say it's inappropriate. But like the others say, let him know that it's just a compliment. Don't lead him on or anything of the sort. That would be scummy.

If you are going to send an e-mail, think about the things that could happen if you do. He could get offended, and tell you that it was wrong of you to say that. But, it could also make him like you again. And he might even start to like you in a romantic way, so just think about the consequences!

There's no point inthe email if you ask me...
i mean what would that do, you're grade is your grade and either way considering everything it may seem like you're just trying to get a better grade...

also, you should have told him that in person because over the internet he can show that to the head of the school and file a law suit or somethng against you! and you could get kicked out of the school! So i wouldn't because i know someone that happend to!

Not a good idea.

At any rate what's this "belong to someone else" nonsense? If you "belong" to them, why would you write anyone a note? And why wouldn't you get married? If you "belong" to them and all.

Don't do it....he could lose his job and you can be kicked out of school if someone finds out...the best thing to do is to remain in a "student/teacher" relationship....sorry
