Jesus was gentle and self-effacing. Koresh was a homicidal egomaniac.

Jesus advocated loving your neighbor. Koresh advocated...loving David Koresh.

Jesus led by example, put others before himself, and lived simply. Koresh sought worldly glory and comfort.

This is a stupid f*ckin question.

Robert, you're throwing out a speculative assertion. It's not my responsibility to prove a negative - specifically that Jesus was NOT a first-century David Koresh. It's YOUR responsibility to prove that he was.

Have you studied the evidence of Jesus' life? If you don't believe in the Bible, that's fine. Then, just look at it as a collection of ancient writings - and hold those writings up to the same standard that any fair-minded historian would when assessing ancient documents. And then study them.

And then do the same with the other, non-biblical, ancient writings which mention Jesus and/or his followers.

After you've studied all that, then I'll listen to you. Until then, you're just flinging baseless questions and accusations.

Jesus said many would follow him saying, I am the Christ. He warned us of cult leaders. That includes churches that try and take your eyes off of Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us. Nothing man can do can ever compare to Jesus. There is no working your way to heaven, its a free gift, it doesn't cost anything. All you have to do is believe.

because when David Koresh and other cult leaders died, or will die, they stay dead- Jesus is alive.

I know Jesus and he's not even here in body. David Koresh never did anything for me but Jesus did. And he continues.

The fulfillment of literally hundreds of Bible prophecies pointed to Jesus as being the Messiah. Jesus' ancient opponents tried everything they could to stop and discredit him. But never once did they claim that he didn't meet every criteria that the Messiah was prophesied to have - because they knew he did.

in case you will fairly examine his works, it replaced into no longer him yet his followers who bloated each and every thing out of proportions. in actuality, he even warned his disciples or the readers that anybody who's accessible in his call, Jesus and says he's the Christ is a deceiver. examine the Bible properly. and in case you spot contradictions, use your understanding to confirm this is edited for the daibolical intentions of Jesus followers.

Truly... what do you know about Koresh?

He dealt in death and was proud of it.

Jesus dealt with life.

when it comes to Jesus, there are only three ways you can go...

either he was a deciever and knew that he wasn't God, or he was decieved and thought he was God, or else he was deity and he was who he said he was.

so you may be an informed discerner, i refer you to the gospels concerning the character of Jesus Christ.
