i know the phone i got for xmas is a verizon and it has a fold out key bored...im not sure which one it is and i doubt it's the new one the voyager because thats about 300 or 400 and i doubt my parents would spend that much on a phone knowing my luck w/ the past 2 phones lol. all i know is that it has a 2.0 camera ...so thats good right? i didn't get a chance to look at the phone and i didn't want to see it but i spotted the bag in their room so even though i saw it i don't want to look at it again till xmas so i can be somewhat surprised.

It all depends on your location. Reception wise, you'd have to check out cell phone companies in your area to see what the coverage is for where you live. There's all different types of factors that will affect the type of reception you get around your area, like if you live near the water, or how far that particular cellphone companies towers are from where you live. I happen to live in New York and I have T-mobile, and my reception here is horrible, but when I lived in Florida my reception was great. And price wise, they're really not that bad. They have pretty reasonable plans. I'm switching to my husbands service next month he has Sprint, and he said that Sprint is awesome too, and they also have really reasonable plans. There's a website that you can look at and it compares a variety of different cell phone companies and gives a review to see which one suits you best. I hope you find something that doesn't rip you off. Just take your time and make sure you pick the right one. Also, if you do decide to go with T-mobile, and you want to cancel before your contract is up theres a $200.00 cancellation fee, I'm not sure what other companies charge to cancel their plans. Here is the link to that website. http://www.consumersearch.com/www/electronics/cell-phone-plans/ I hope I helped.

I use Page Plus Prepaid which is actually Verizon service at rates alot cheaper than Verizon prepaid or Verizon contract, you can even get unlimited anytime minutes with no contract and no credit check and use any verizon phone you already have.

Your VX5200 has a 640 x 480 resolution VGA camera, which is actually pretty bad for mid range phones. Usually phones have at least a 1.3 mega pixel camera if not better now days.

Not sprint. I have heard good things about just about everyone else though. Every company has their nightmare stories, but I hear more of them about Sprint then anyone else.
