ask a date for winter formal? HELP?

i want to go to the winter formal dance, i know this one girl that i want to ask, but i have never asked anyone out, i am a freshmen in high school, the dance is at knotts, i know who i want to ask, but what if she says no, i dont know her really well, but we know each other and we talk a bit sometimes, i dont think anyone would ask her out, but i am scared that she will say know, how do i ask her!!!!! i am going crazy right now, i cant concentrate on anything!! please help

all my friends have been asking me who i am going with, and i say no one,or i am not going, also, i have not bought tickets yet, should i buy them before i ask her or after, and i am not sure if my dad will say yes because it costs 50$, he might be okay with me going, but paying is a problem, and do i wear a suit or a tux, where do i get it from, please help!!!

Work and save the money.

Take into account the amount for the tux, the corsage and the limo.

Ask the girl. If you don't ask the girl, you don't get the girl. If you DO ask the girl you MAY get the girl.

If you ask the girl too late, someone else may already get the girl.

Ask her.

Ask your dad.
