Help please.?

There's this guy I like and I recently asked him if he'd like to come visit me sometime he said : 3 hours is a long way for someone that does not have a car, but I can see what I can do.

I really like him and have known him for 4 yrs now. A girl that he fell for recently shot him down, so I don't really want to press him too much. I used to be best friends with his sister until she moved. He and I were always close too. He'd stick up for me and always be really kind to me even when he should have been upset. He'd go out of his way to make sure I was happy. I would like for us to have a better relationship, because yrs have passed and it seems as though we are trying to pick up were we left off but we've changed so much that we need to try another route. Lol. I'd really like if nothing else, just to be best friends with him again. If thats what makes him happy. But I know in my heart that I'll always have feelings for him.

I really do care about him and need to know what to do.

Do you know how he feels about you?

Perhaps you should talk with him and try to find out.

If you approach him and he's not up for it - maybe you lose the friendship as well.

If you never approach him, you never find out.

So ... talk with him. Scope out the lay of the land. Be a friend and keep in touch. When the time is right, perhaps the magic will happen.
