Any question, criticism or debate are met with condescending comments and insults. Isn't this very type of closed-minded behavior these people claim to hate?
The hypocrisy in this area of discussion is amazing to me.
When evidence or criticism that seems to contradict the Evolutionary Theory is introduced it is offhandedly thrown out without even being seriously consdiered. What is up with that?

Kevin M - if you need proof look at my previous question or any questions asked from a Creationist standpoint. Look at the replies. Just like yours. Call me a liar and get a ton of thumbs up.
Looks pretty secure to me lol

Thank you all for proving my point so wonderfully.
Some asked for an example of criticism and scientific research that casts doubt upon the veracity of the theory of Darwin. Here's an example:

It's thrown out without being seriously considered because of the creationist movement, which is simply a collection of professional liars.
Why should we waste time pretending that there's something to be seriously considered there?
Yet despite the complete dishonesty of the creationists, the creationist movement has been quite successful. That's why it's threatening.
There is nothing "closed-minded" about rejecting creationism, and it's obviously dishonest of you to suggest otherwise. Doesn't the fact that you people have to lie so much to defend your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.

It's not insecurity, it's frustration. Most of the questions on the subject demonstrate ignorance regarding the basic principles involved in evolution. Most of the so called evidence meant to disprove evolution is deliberately misleading and factually wrong. It's copied from creationist web sites and pasted into YA, without any attempt made to confirm if the information is true.
Your sentence "Any question, criticism or debate are met with condescending comments and insults. Isn't this very type of closed-minded behavior these people claim to hate?" broad brushes people to such an extent that it's meaningless.

I just had a course in a Evolutionist vs Creationism class, and I learned that even though the fact that there is a divine force behind the creation of the world is kind of slim (I'm a Christian, i believe that God created the world, but not everybody believes that), there are just too many flaws in the evolutionist way of thinking for the world to even still be here, or have started.
Many of the "missing links" have turned out to be either hoaxes, or proven to be untrue.
There also just too many things unthinkable in Evolution. If we all derived from a single organism, how did that organism turn from one that used asexual reproduction into one that use sexual reproduction? Gravity is the weakest force and wouldn't be enough to cause the "big bang" that "started life".
Also, the irreducible complexity of our solar system, and even our bodies is too astronomical (the pun is irresistible) to have all happened by chance.
The signs of macro-evolution are slim; only adaptations in a certain species has been recorded happening - not one changing from one into another, not even in the bird dinosaurs (archipteryx (sp)) evolving into modern birds. No signs of that having happened.
Due to irreducibility, the odds of molecules randomly coming together is.. well.. zero.
These are just things I've learned from the class. I have no idea why those who still believe in Evolution do other than the fact that they are ignorant to what it is they are saying. There are too many cases where they say "We'll figure it out someday in time." They still believe what they're saying even after all of these "somedays." It's just weird. I think it is because they are.. well.. afraid to give up because if they do, then they are admitting that there is a god who created the world and they just refuse to believe that.
This is all my opinion. :) I hope this helped you in your quest.

There hasn't been a single piece of evidence or criticism that has ever stood up to serious consideration. Most crumble under the slightest scrutiny. Show otherwise.
You're quite mistaken in who's insecure. Look in the mirror.
ADDENDA
"Some asked for an example of criticism and scientific research that casts doubt upon the veracity of the theory of Darwin."
You have GOT to be kidding. EVERY single one of those "criticisms" has been debunked for years. As far as "scientific research", there is not ONE peer-reviewed article or piece of research in existence. If there is, produce it.
You can see every one your "arguments" crumble before your very eyes at

well, dear, there's nothing anyone can say to you to make you accept evolution if you want to ignore the evidence. If you are interested, a quick and easy search on google can pull up all the evidence for evolution you could need. But I have a feeling you aren't interested in that.
Have a nice day

This isn't a question. It's a rant. The reason any suggestion that evolution isn't real is met with condescension is because it's not worth anything else. Evolution is real - there is solid, scientific proof for it. I'm not insecure. I know scientists are right. I feel really sorry for misguided religious zealots.

Because just about ever bit of "evidence" and criticism that comes up is something that has been hashed out a thousand times before. Creationism is a joke and should be treated as such.

like what? scripture isn't evidence.
EDIT
what are "common sense facts"?
the link you provided claims that it's evidence is based on common sense rather than tangible proof.
it states, "This book provides you with common sense facts"
robert gentry is a laughingstock even among creationist scientists. his research suffers from the observor-expectancy effect
it's a cognitive bias that occurs in science when an obcervor expects a given result and therefore unconsciously manipulates an experiment or reports the expected result.
your "evidence" is based on human error

What evidence do you have against the theory of evolution? If you can convince people, you may get a Nobel prize!

Now you're just lying. Bad Christian, lies make the baby Jesus cry.
Phfft. If you had any evidence we would consider it, you don't though. You just have a persecution complex.
Besides, you're a well known troll on this site. None of your recent "questions" have been anything close to being honest attempts to understand or criticise evolution. If you insist on trolling, don't expect to be met with anything other than humour ;)
