i am thinking ofgetting a homemade tattoo

Every tattoo my uncle got in rison got infected. They use a lice-soap for all soap, so that may help if they don't get infected.

DON'T get a home-made tattoo in a visible place. On your butt is the only place to get one.

GURANTEED if you get one you will want it recovered in a year. Trust me. If I was rich, I'd buy you a tattoo, that's how bad I don't want you to get a home made tattoo! Please, just don't!

You can bet your butt that jailhouse tattoos get infected, probably more often than professional tatts.

If you don't want to look like a convict, don't do-it-yourself. Have a professional do the job. It will look much better and you are less likely to get an infection.

Homemade tattoos scream jail time, or gangster. If you are neither, don't be a cheapskate.

They DO get infected and they DO contract illnesses like hepatitus. They also get odd scars from the uneven distribution of ink caused by using shoddy equipment.
Homemade tats are a bad idea.
You want ink, go to a pro with an established reputation who uses single use needles.
You want it to have a "homemade" or "jailhouse" look, I think you're being foolish, but a good tattoo artist can capture that look for you without the risks involved in the "real thing"

my friend has hep c from prison tats! He has trouble with relationships with females as a result... hard enough to find a girl as an ex con but an ex con with hep c.....even worse. Not to mention all the other problems he has as an ex con and with his health because of the hep c. I am not excusing anything but just saying the guy has problems. I also responded to your other question about homemade tats. Dont go there.
