Should I call my Church and ask them to preform an exorcism on me to remove the devil? Or should I continue my everyday life as a Christan, accept myself for who I am, and just be the best person I can be?

If you believe it to be a sin then ask your church for help. If they try to do anything to you other than help you then find some true Christians and ask them for help.

If you don't think it is a sin and its just the way you are then be who you are. I will say that if you don't think there is anything wrong with it then you should be able to be yourself even at your church. If not then either it isn't the right church for you or you ahve to reevaluate.

There will be plenty of people that will tell you it is right. There are plenty that will tell you it is wrong. If you are a church goer then pray to God and let Him tell you. Forget what the folks down here say.

My own opinion is that I find it instinctively wrong. That doens't mean I don't like you, that doens't mean that I don't like my friend who has "come out" and it certainly doesn't mean I need help from Brian Singer. Its simply my belief and I'll take my lumps for my beliefs. But my belief doesn't make you a bad person. I can't judge you only one being can do that.

Good luck whichever road you choose.

NO! Do not let them perform an exorcism on you. I an not religious but I have my beliefs. And i believe in the good of people. You need to accept yourself. So what if you're gay? That doesn't mean you went off and killed someone. You're just telling the people the person you truly are. If you like guys go ahead and be proud to say that. Anything less is just stupid. And please don't let the church or anyone else pressure you into thinking what you feel is wrong.

Most churches wouldn't perform an exorcism- very few even believe in that, even though it is scriptural. Do you have a devil? Maybe and maybe not. Being gay doesn't necessarily mean you have a demon. But it can mean that you most likely grew up with issues with your dad. More likely, you might need healing from old wounds that prevent you from being who God made you to be. God didn't create you to be gay- but He loves you anyway. Prayer and counseling, and a very understanding pastor who is willing to work with you would be a better choice. I know those who believe being gay is okay won't agree, but I have a dear friend who is a gay Christian, and he is totally miserable- because he knows it's not what God really wants for him. I do my best to include him in our family outings so he's not alone. Spend some time in prayer and reading God's word. Ask God to help you find a special friend who will help you overcome this temptation. God bless..

Exorcism is not necessary. That went out in the 70's, I think. However, continue your everyday Christian life, accept yourself, and pray about it to God. You could confide in someone, if you like. But you don't have to ever tell anybody but God. Its not their business.Just continue being the best person you can be.

you can be the best person you can be, but that doesn't guarentee salvation. there is no promise for the life you are living. having man with man relationships besides jesus christ is sinful. you are sining against God continuiously.. So you should get an exorcism. you can go ahead and pick and answer that you want to hear, which i am sure you are going to do. always trying to find justifications, but you are only cheating yourself. that's just the sad truth. you have put yourself here. and by the way, you can't truly be Christian if you constantly sin against God. God punishes sin.

From the catechism of the Catholic Church.

Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

2358
The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

funny how people go to Church's or stuff, but never to God. Romans 3:10-11. Seek his face and ask for it to leave. You can walk straight if you want to, but you have to wait for Hosea 10:12. TILL he comes and reigns in you.....if he truly cleans you will walk sexless. For heterosexuality is of Satan also. It is a quest for heaven....but this is probably to much wisdom for you. I do not mean to call you dumb either. To understand God is not something you can just do, you have to seek his face to see. For the devil owns your eye's and your thoughts.

I am a Bisexual Christian. I have been a Christian for over 20 years.

Keep quiet. Except with God. Don't put yourself into a tempting situation ( probably too late for that advice, but I'm trying ) . I know that other Christian guys can be tempting, but don't put yourself there.

It's most likely NOT the devil. It's just how sin manifested in you. It manifests in other people; similar to you in some; in other ways to others.

I could swing either way. But God knows me, and he keeps me busy, now on the internet, later, God only knows. But don't let it get to you. You might be having daily encounters with guys, but don't let it interfere with God. Please know that I am being genuine with you. Keep God first, trust Him with everything.

Here is my testimony:

God still loves you, but you need to understand that to love God in return you need to follow His word. I understand people are not perfect and you are going to sin, but to be a child of God you need to conduct yourself as a Child of God.
If you have done things that are deemed Gay in our society, then you need to repent and not do these again. If you are truly a child of God you will not be happy living a homosexual life style.....the guilt you will carry on your heart will spill over in your everyday life and it will tug on your mind, body, and soul. It will become unbareable. God will still love you either way, but His love was never and will never be the love in question it is our love that is being questioned here. So you have to pick is being gay more important than loving God?
