I know everyone is telling you not to do it but I can tell you from experience and living with a stupid ugly homemade tattoo for the last 21 years.......DONT DO IT PLEASE. I thought it would be cool to let this guy give me a homemade tattoo of a freakin cross on my breast. well guess what it is not cool I hate it and in one month will finally be saying good bye to that stupid ugly tattoo. The comments I have endured over the years....even one saying that the cross meant I was owned by a mexican (not that there is anything wrong with being hispanic...dont get me wrong...but i am not owned by anyone!). Infection is the last thing you have to worry about. If you really want a tattoo I urge you to wait until you can have a professional one. It is your body and you can do with it whatever you want but I just wanted to tell you a little bit of my personal hell with a homemade tattoo. Peace!

Unless you want to look like a gangbanger or an ex-con, fugidaboutid!
Homemade tattoos, and tattoos on the hand are generally looked upon as indicators of gang or criminal activity. If you want to brand yourself as a probably outlaw, go a head.
I think it is a really lousy idea. Talk to a professional tattoo artist. Lots of them will not put tattoos below the wrist.

Infected??? It depends on how clean the tattooing needle is. You can get a lot of STD type diseases from dirty needles.
I personally know a dude who got hepatitis 3 from a tattoo, it's haunted him since 1987.

you may get lucky and it might not fade. but you may end up with any number of diseases. don't get a homemade tattoo unless you are willing to catch one of them.

please don't do it. keep in mind they are permanent so if u screw it up.....or do something wrong with the tattoo machine....
just go to a professional and get it done. there is less risk if u go to a reputable shop. they should let u watch them set up so u know that everything is new and sterilized.

How about you just go to a professional? You won't have to worry about infection and you'll get quality.
Let me guess... You're not old enough, right?
